Dharamshala-One of the Most Beautiful Hill Stations

Adventure travelers have you ever been to Dharamshala? One of the most popular vacation spots with the locals in Himachal is the Dharamshala. This is a hill station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar range about 17 kms north- east of Kangra town.

Dharamshala is wooded with oak and conifer trees and snow capped mountains enfold 3 sides of the city while the valley stretches in ahead. The snowline is perhaps more easily accessible at Dharamshala than at any other hill resort and it is possible to make a day's trek to a snow-point after an early morning's start.

This area has a lot of flexibility when it comes to places to stay you can rent for the month the season or the entire summer. If you are traveling with a large group or planning an extended stay it will be easier on the travel budget to lease a condo.

In and around Dharamshala, one can visit the Kangra Art museum at Kotwali bazar, War memorial, Kunal Pathri temple and tea gardens on way to Kunal Pathri. There is also a beautiful Cricket stadium in the city facing mighty Dhauladhar.
Holiday Package India offers you great packages to visit different hill stations Read More...
